Terms of Service

By accessing or using agecheckup.com (the "Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service provides a free online age calculator and a directory of public-figure birthdays sourced from the public Wikidata knowledge base. The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

The Service does not require registration. You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you enter into the calculator.

The Service, including its design, code, and original written content, is the property of Age Checkup and its licensors. Public-figure data is sourced from Wikidata under the CC0 1.0 licence; profile photographs are sourced from Wikimedia Commons under their respective licences and are credited to their original authors.

You agree not to:

• use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or impair the Service or its underlying infrastructure;
• scrape, copy, or redistribute the Service's content at scale without prior written permission;
• interfere with the security features or advertising systems of the Service.

The Service displays third-party advertisements through Google AdSense. Advertisements are clearly labelled. We are not responsible for the content or practices of advertisers; any interaction with an advertised product or service is solely between you and that advertiser.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that age calculations or biographical data will be free of errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Age Checkup and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

The Service relies on third-party services, including Google AdSense and the Wikidata Query Service. Their availability is outside our control, and the Service may degrade or be temporarily unavailable as a result.

We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also revise these Terms; the "last updated" date will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
